Veterans Security Services is Southern Sudan's only licensed armed security company. Providing professionally trained and managed local security guards and services.

VSS was incorporated in 2007 to provide armed security services in Southern Sudan. It provides professionally trained and managed local secuirty guards as well as other security services. VSS was formed in response to the Government of Southern Sudan's intention for disarmament, demobilisation and reintegration (DDR), of a porportion of the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA). The company acts as a means of providing employment and therefore reintegration of demobilised soldiers. VSS is closely linked to the Veteran's Association of the SPLA, a Southern Sudan registered organisation that directs a proportion of VSS profits to wounded war heroes.

VSS is managed by a highly experienced expatriate team based in Juba. All guarding contracts are closely supervised and a programme of continuation training for the guards is implemented.

Our workforce is formed exclusively from veterans of the Sudan People's Liberations Army (SPLA). All guards are fully trained, smart, courteous and reliable.
